This question one of holly wars going decades.
My answer such - I want to see (instead of to compile in a head glancing over screens of scripts) business the logic.
I want to think during development of process, instead of about syntax details.
whom I know majority BI (I too) in the way beginning were for all on basis level, and the further, the were more declined towards visualization ETL of processes.
Without (rather ETL tools) you do not remain, do not endure - this to you and there suffices.

Here is how you at database level implement
- obtaining through HTTP from outside iTunes or Facebook statisticans on any pages and campaigns
